Theoretical Mind Map

As I have progressed throughout my FMP I have encountered some problems that I had to solve. Some problems I knew that I would come across and so I had to plan before these.
Research: I knew that without research my FMP would not be as good and so I made sure to research 2D and 3D animation because it was the most important aspect of my project.
Time Duration of Film: I planed my animation and knew it was quite ambitious and I realised my plot/story would need to be shortened at some point because of the time taken to animate, so I had a point where I was able to stop the story.
3D & 2D Mixing: Because I researched 2D and 3D animation I knew 3D animation is more time consuming so I made plans to have more 2D characters.
Organisation: I decided to dedicated one day in the week for re checking my plans, storyboard and progress for my FMP and I checked my weekly reflection so that I can always reflect back on my plan.
Time Management: I knew I had would struggle to complete the animation in the time given so I had plans to leave video and story so that I could have finished in the time given. This helped me think of a way to leave the plot on a cliffhanger ending.
Genre: I had a couple ideas for the genre of my animation and if I could not achieve "mystery" I could make the animation more of a "comedy".
Special Effects: I researched different techniques in Premiere and on the Adobe website. to make the door stand out and look mysterious.
Music: When composing the music for the FMP I had to do some planning ahead of what type of music is going to play and when in the video it is going to appear. I planned on using some music from APM Music which was helpful in the end because it set the right mood.
Exporting Videos: When uploading and rendering I knew that the videos were going to take up some time because of exporting. So to work around this I lowered the quality and frame rate so the exported videos can export faster.
